Partners in Parenting Consulting presents:

The Stork School for Expectant Parents

Feeling anxious and stressed about becoming a new parent?
The Stork School for Expectant Parents is here to help!

Wouldn’t it be nice if babies came with instructions? Unfortunately, they don’t, and new parents are left to navigate sleepless nights and postpartum recovery with little education or support. If you are feeling anxious and stressed about this major life transition, you are not alone. So much attention is given to preparation for labor and delivery, but what about the 4th trimester?

New Course:
Prepared Parenthood

The Stork School for Expectant Parents’ Prepared Parenthood Course empowers you to take charge of your NPE (New Parent Experience). Learn evidence-based strategies that will allow you to relax and enjoy this precious journey and be the amazing parent you were meant to be! You’ll learn about newborns and postpartum wellness before baby arrives so you can be confident and capable of caring for your newborn and yourselves.

Now enrolling! Email us at hello@bevgillen.com to reserve your spot in the next cohort which begins May 4, 2024.

Convenient, Affordable, and Most Importantly, FUN!

We know how busy your life is already, so no worries. Access this course online from the convenience of your couch. Progress through the weekly modules at your own pace throughout the 6-week course. There are no Zoom meetings or required in-person events.

At an Introductory Rate of $199, the course is a great value and an investment in your future family. If you’re math nerds like we are, that’s less than $25 per week assuming you earn the $50 Nest Egg reward. You can do it – we are already cheering for you!

All work and no play is not FUN. In addition to the educational content, we pride ourselves on incorporating relaxation, connection, and humor (although you’ll have to judge that one for yourself)!

What will I learn?

Over the course of 6 weeks, connect with other expectant parents in a learning cohort as you explore 12 modules with over 40 teaching topics, including postpartum self-care, baby safety, parent-child attachment, infant brain development, early literacy, baby soothing and feeding, the unique role of fathers/partners, and more. We use discussion boards, short reading bytes, experiential activities, videos, field work, and resource links to keep you engaged with the material, your peers, and your instructor. During the course, you’ll also create a Personal Parenting Toolkit that showcases your strengths and values.

Make connections with other expectant parents over the six weeks who are in the same stage of life. Students who complete the course will earn the Honorary Degree of Prepared Parent and receive a $50 Nest Egg for baby’s postsecondary education*.

*One Nest Egg per family. 529 plan must be part of Ugift network.
**This course is intended to augment a birthing and lactation course but not be a substitute for one.

  • The second trimester (months 4, 5, or 6) is ideal, but the course is appropriate for any time during the nine months of pregnancy.

  • We understand babies have their own timetable so you will be able to access the course for 90 days following the planned course end date (approx. 3 months).

  • Certainly! Register using your separate emails so you can each access the course.

  • Of course!

  • Not yet, but it’s a worthy goal. Please let us know if you have connections with a medical insurance company or a benefits company that is looking for ways to stand out in the market by offering new wellness solutions.

  • We are actively recruiting workplaces and faith communities that want to recruit and retain high quality employees by offering family friendly benefits. If you own or work for such a company, we’d love to connect and create a partnership.

  • A cohort is a group of students who learn and progress through a program together. Sounds a lot more exciting than learning alone, yes?

  • A Nest Egg is a nickname for a sum of money that is set aside and allowed to grow for a particular purpose, in this case, baby’s postsecondary education.

  • We are considering offering a 100% self-paced model in the future, so please contact us if you are interested.

  • Everyone studies at their own pace, but it should take approximately 8-10 hours to complete the course.
